The pickup_sla attribute specifies how long it takes for a product to become available for pickup after an order is placed.

When paired with pickup_method, it provides a complete representation of pickup availability — how and when customers can collect their items.




When to use

Use this field when your products can be picked up in-store or locally, and you want to specify the expected pickup delay or readiness timeframe.

For ChatGPT, this field helps the AI display clear preparation times (“Ready in 1 day”, “Available in 3 hours”).
For Google, it’s required when enabling the Pickup today or Pickup later features.

    • Be provided alongside pickup_method.
    • Include either a numeric duration (1 day, 3 hours) for ChatGPT, or a supported text value (same_day, next_day, etc.) for Google.
    • Reflect the real-world time before an order is ready for pickup.
    • Use positive, valid values (no negative or approximate terms).
